Metabolized by liver and excreted 50% Via Urine 46% Via faeces.

Description
Rosuvastatin acts by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase enzyme responsible for catalyzing the conversion of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutarate co-A (HMG-CoA) to Mevalonate, which is an early rate-limiting step in the biosynthesis of cholesterol Aspirin inhibits platelet aggregation by irreversibly acetylating platelet cyclo-oxygenase, thereby blocking the production of prostaglandin endoperoxides PGG2 and PGH2 which are precursors of the major platelet-aggregating material, thromboxane A2, which is also a powerful vasoconstrictor.
